An Athena: The Human Index Knowledge Quiz
Dispatch Record // 05:42 hrs

Location: Metis City, Perseus Park, a bench near the north running trail.

Two joggers, the only witnesses on scene, contacted emergency services after discovering an unresponsive individual on a park bench. Responding units are en route. A light rain has begun to fall.

You are the first officer to arrive. The decisions you make from this moment forward will determine whether the evidence you collect holds up in court or falls apart under cross-examination.

You will be presented with 12 sequential decisions drawn directly from Crime Scene Investigation: A Guide for Law Enforcement (NIJ, 2000). Each choice affects the admissibility of the evidence collected at this scene. At the end, your performance will be evaluated as a final evidence admissibility verdict. Note that contemporary techniques may differ and that this quiz is not to be considered an official representation of the legal standard(s).

There is no timer. Read carefully. Think like an investigator.
